ATEK eV is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to supporting families and relatives of traumatized veterans and emergency personnel. Our goal is to raise awareness of the experiences and challenges of dealing with PTSD in everyday family life.
With our projects we promote:
Care and exchange – safe spaces for relatives to share experiences and experience community.
Public relations and education – events, publications and lectures that convey a realistic picture of the service and its consequences.
Social projects and support – practical help, networks and cooperation that provide guidance to affected relatives and families.
Our annual Christmas package campaign for soldiers who are being treated for PTSD in Bundeswehr hospitals over the holidays.
